Wear-resistant plates
Wear-resistant plates are manufactured using flux-cored wire or plasma cladding (depending on the thickness of the clad layer). Various types of steel are used as the base material. The type of backing used depends on the plate’s intended use. Depending on the application (especially the operating temperature), the surface exposed to abrasive wear is clad with iron-based materials containing Cr, Nb, V, and W carbide inclusions and borides, which increase abrasion resistance. The cladding is obtained from Fe-C-Cr flux-cored wires with carbide additions or by plasma cladding with NiCrSi+60% WC, VC, or other carbide powders.
The plates are used in many industries, especially in applications involving intense mineral abrasion (chutes, material transport, etc.). The offer includes plates in standard sizes, as well as custom-designed, customized sizes (including bent and cut-to-size plates).
The panels can be attached using welding or by pre-cutting holes and fastening with screws.
