X-900™
X-900™ is a revolutionary bimetallic coating for co-rotating segmented double barrels used in high-load or high-pressure mixing applications. X-900™ provides an impermeable, seamless barrier thanks to a patented technology in which a tungsten carbide/nickel compound is laser-welded directly to the inner surface of the barrel segment. X-900™ technology provides strength, wear, and corrosion protection for the bimetallic liner. Unlike other technologies, X-900™ segments are recyclable, reducing the life cycle cost of the segmented double barrel.
XALOY® X-800® High Wear Resistance for Injection Molding
Composition: tungsten carbide particles uniformly dispersed in a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy matrix. Exceptional resistance to abrasive wear and corrosion. Essential for molding materials with high abrasive filler content, such as those containing 25% or more glass fibers or mineral fillers (calcium carbonate, etc.), and refractory materials such as HMW-HDPE or LLDPE.
XALOY® X-102® for general use
Composition: Nickel-rich iron-boron alloy. An economical choice for injection molding or extrusion of unfilled or lightly filled polymers with good thermal stability.
XALOY® X-220® Iron-Boron Alloy with Higher Chromium Content
Premium general-purpose cylinder. Increased resistance to corrosion and abrasion.
XALOY® X-306® for Highly Corrosive Environments
Applications include: highly corrosive environments, acidic salts, materials with flame retardants, blowing agents, PVDF. One of the most corrosion-resistant alloys in the industry. A nickel-cobalt-based alloy for the harshest corrosive atmospheres.
